A Naturopathic doctor uses a number of therapies to support the healing of their patients, including lifestyle changes, nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and pharmaceuticals. A main tenant of naturopathic medicine is to work to treat the cause of the problem and prevent future issues, rather than just treating the symptoms.

  • Naturopathic doctors first must attain an undergraduate degree with a required premedical courses. They then go on to complete a 4 year doctorate degree at an accredited Naturopathic Medical school. In the province of British Columbia, students must pass both the national Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Exam (NPLEX) and the provincial board exams in order to become a licensed ND.

  • Initial intake and treatment appointments cost $240 and subsequent appointments will differ in price depending on the length ($190 for 45min follow up, $125 for 30 min, $90 for 15 min). Additional costs may include labs and supplements (of which are not sold through me or the clinic, and I don’t make any commission from).

    As each treatment plan is individually tailored, cost is taken into consideration when developing your personal plan.
